Design and Dimensions
Dio has a height of 1133mm, width of 710mm, and length of 1781mm.
Seat is 765mm high and Ground Clearance
is of 158mm. Stylish metal body ensures
durability in rough Indian roads.
Anti-theft key shutter is provided so that locking becomes more secure
and safe. There is 18 ltr storage space under the seat and if that not enough
there is a optional inner box in front. Sitting posture is comfortable for the long rides.
Honda Dio is loaded 5.3 litre storage tank for fuel which has 1 litre
reserve. It has Kerb weight of 105 Kg.
Engine
Honda Dio is mated with its 109.2cc engine which produces
8bhp power @ 7000 rpm. Torque is also good and
bike produces 8.77 Nm at 5500
rpm. Compression ratio of engine is 9.5:1. The Viscous Air Filter reduces the
need of frequent maintenance and makes it run smoother and healthier for longer
period. Kick and Electric Start both are present.
Transmission
Dio is mated with V-matic automatic transmission which
ensures the efficient transmission of power and torque through engine and makes
it run smoother and silent.
Breaks and Tyres
Both the tyres are Tubeless of 90/100-10 and size of rim is
10 inches. To enhance the breaking power combined breaking system is provided
in rear break which enables efficient combined breaking and less stopping time
of vehicle. Both the breaks are 130m
drum type.
Suspension and Frame
Dio comes with Under bone type frame that holds engine and
other parts efficiently. Both the the
suspensions in rear and front are of hydraulic type with loaded spring.
Battery
